OPERATION ZERO PROVIDED SNIPER RIFLES TO THE FRONT
OPERATION ZERO has sponsored two elite units operating in the special military operation area. We strive to provide all kinds of help and assistance to the fighters to complete the operation on the front line as soon as possible. For this purpose, the production of five sniper rifles manufactured by Lobaev Arms was organized:
- TSVL-8 M3 Berserk, caliber 0.338 LM (8.6mm), one piece.
- TSVL-8 M1 Stalingrad, caliber 0.338 LM (8.6mm), two pieces.
- DXL-4M Sevastopol, caliber 0.375 inch (9.5mm), one piece.
- DXL-5 Havoc, caliber 12.7x108 DShK, one piece.
The total amount of the sponsorship is 4.5 million rubles ($50,000). After production was completed, the rifles were handed over to the soldiers of the relevant units, who expressed gratitude to OPERATION ZERO for the assistance provided. TSVL-8 M3 Berserk Rifle
1110 mm length with unfolded buttstock, with folded buttstock 865 mm. 5.5 kg weight. Effective range of fire is up to 1300 meters. It is used wherever a powerful, fast action, energy of 8.6 Lapua Magnum caliber cartridge, and small size are needed. The main niche is urban combat and shooting in rugged terrain (forests, groves, ravines), where there are numerous obstacles. At a distance of up to 1000 meters, it can pierce all types of personal body armor (bulletproof vests) when fired with a bullet with a hard alloy core.
TSVL-8 M1 Stalingrad Rifle
This rifle is similar to the "Berserk", but it differs from the latter in barrel length which is 680 mm vs. 500 mm, total length is 1290 mm when unfolded, and 1045 mm when the buttstock is folded, and its weight is 7.4 kg. Firing range is also longer, up to 1600 meters. It is used for urban combat, and ambush fire in rugged and open terrain.
DXL-4 Sevastopol Rifle
A weapon for ultra-long-range shooting, up to 2200 meters. Standard energy is 10 thousand joules. Being equipped with armor-piercing bullets, it can penetrate all types of bulletproof vests up to 1600 meters. It can pierce the sides of light armored vehicles up to 1100 meters. Weight is 9.1 kg. Folded length is 1200 mm. When unfolded it is 1200 mm. It can be used on all types of terrain where point fire and penetration are more important than weight and size. It is widely used by Special Operations Forces of Russian Federation, Marines and Airborne Forces. The FSB border guards are currently being equipped with them.
DXL-5 Havoc Rifle
Effective firing distance is up to 2200 meters. Folded length is 1280 mm and unfolded length is 1555 mm. It is used in urban combat to defeat the enemy behind shelter, as well as in ambushes and firing from stationary positions.
